Musee Rodin
If you ask people about the most famous sculptures they know, most of them mention The Thinker. A sculpture made by the 19th century sculptor Auguste Rodin.
He really revolutionized the art of sculpture.
He was a tremendously gifted sculptor and he could transform clay into any desired form within minutes. His assistants would cast these models into real bronze and marble statues. In the beautiful house in the equally gorgeous garden, some of his most famous sculptures are on display, including the Thinker and the Gates of Hell. Donated to the state after the Rodin died, this splendid mansion was transformed into one of the most wonderful museums of the city.
